I have developed some electrical issues in my 2010 Challenger SRT8. All of the sudden my sunroof will not close, the seat heaters will not work, and when in reverse I do not get the backup warning message. I recently replaced the alternator and the battery, and everything was working fine, now after a few days I am having issues. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.
could be the new alt. is bad or hooked up wrong. I would have them checked at a local shop. sounds like the new battery is not charging. Have you done anything else besides the alt and battery? Why did you have to change them in the first place?
Sorry to hear about your electrical concerns. Are you getting any lights on the dashboard and/or any trouble codes? Also, have you checked to ensure that all connections are secure?
The alternator wasn't providing enough amps to keep the battery charged. Which caused the battery to drop a cell. Everything was working fine then all of the sudden the sun roof, seat heaters, and backup warning message will not work.
