Radio and Nav map update dvd's arrived in mail today

In the mail today I received a complimentary 2013 radio and Nav map update dvd's for my 730N RHR.
Has anyone else received these dvd's and if so have you installed the updates?

According the letter it says the map provides a more current map database than what was
available when my car was built - which was in June. They have you go to a website to
download an activation code which you need to enter when you do the update to your radio.
Reading the instructions if you need to update the radio software that takes up to 45 minutes
and you can turn the key off until it's done. The map update can take up to 2 hrs. and you can
turn the radio off and it will pick up where it left off when you shut it off.

Thanks

The radio update, DO NOT, turn the key off. Leave it in ON or RUN. Takes about 10-20minutes.

The NAV update, you can shut off the car and it will continue loading where it left off.

The update is nice. It added a Favorites feature to Sirius radio and a whole bunch of new POIs.

I wouldn't mind getting one myself since they finished a new highway near me a couple of years ago. A new ring road that has a bunch of new off ramps to various parts of the city.

The only problem is Dodge wants over $200 for it.

If they're willing to give one to you free...... take it and run.

The Nav update is VIN specific They provide a code that only works with your vin. Wonder if you put your radio in someones car with the update would it work?

Does it update the color scheme from blue to the new Black/Red like the 2013 430N?
