Radio and Nav map update dvd's arrived in mail today
In the mail today I received a complimentary 2013 radio and Nav map update dvd's for my 730N RHR.
Has anyone else received these dvd's and if so have you installed the updates?
According the letter it says the map provides a more current map database than what was
available when my car was built - which was in June. They have you go to a website to
download an activation code which you need to enter when you do the update to your radio.
Reading the instructions if you need to update the radio software that takes up to 45 minutes
and you can turn the key off until it's done. The map update can take up to 2 hrs. and you can
turn the radio off and it will pick up where it left off when you shut it off.
