G5 Challenger - Sam Posey Edition Street Car

Hey guys,

I've been meaning to get this done and I finally just strapped myself down to my chair in my studio! I had a lot of people asking me to post pics of the G5 Challenger Sam Posey car with no graphics in Sublime Green so here it is and a couple more....

Save yourself don't read the above post. WTF?? Nice images! Hopefully sub lime will make it in 2010. The Dodge script on the front spoiler would be an added bonus.

Re: G5 Challenger - Sam Posey Edition Street Car

Hey thanks guys. Chris and I are excited and things are progressing forward. Chris has completed the T/A hood scoop. Unfortunately we are having to get a new website guy, but hopefully soon we will have the G5 website completed and able to post updates daily which will include pics of the car(s) and parts coming along with the start of the SEMA car build pics.

Thanks,
John

Re: G5 Challenger - Sam Posey Edition Street Car

That is some really good work! I look forward to seeing these cars when they finally get built. I absolutely love the look of that chin spoiler, but it would make streeting the car around quite a hassle. A big thing I'm hoping for is an abundance of light-weight replacement parts from the aftermarket to try to cut down on some of the Chally's weight issues.

Thanks for posting these renderings!

Re: G5 Challenger - Sam Posey Edition Street Car

The beauty of the design for the front chin spoilers is that they will have quick disconnect fittings that will allow the owner to easily and quickly remove the front aluminum chin spoiler from the car for street use. It will neatly pack away in the trunk. When the front spoiler is off of the car, you will still have the G5 Challenger front bumper cover which has a molded in smaller chin spoiler that also acts as a support and mounting area for the larger more aggressive aluminum spoiler. That way you still have a cool lookin' front end even without the race spoiler on.

Re: G5 Challenger - Sam Posey Edition Street Car

That is good forward thinking. I see alot of cars with the front spoiler damaged from daily driving. Drive to the show with out damage to the front spoiler then attach for the show/show ground cruising.
