spare tire option

Fred,
Dont know if you can help me, but recently purchased a new SE off the lot from another dealer. It didnt have the spare tire option, which I would like to purchase, but the parts department at my dealer cant figure out how to order one. Do you have the part numbers i would need? I am located about 2 hours from San Antonio so ordering from your paarts department would be an option. Any help you can give would be appreciated as I dont feel comfortable on long trips without some sort of spare.
Thanks

Re: spare tire option

I hear ya, I have taken two very long trips in mine with no spare. I had ordered it but it didn't come with it. So my dealer has ordered one on another car and is going to switch the pump/beer cooler thing out with me when it gets in.

Re: spare tire option

Yea, I really wish the spare came with all challengers, not an option you had to pay extra for.

Re: spare tire option

i missed this post... the easier and cheaper way to get a spare is to go to a junk yard. any spare from magnum,300,charger will work. We ordered a spare assemby for a customer and had to get the spare tire from canada. It ran like $350 if i remember correctly.
