I have not posted in this joint for years lol! Was back in Afghanistan when I heard the grumblings about this car. The first Person I called was Bob Frederick and got on the order list early (#3)! I am happy to say my car is in the pipeline and should be home soon! Another up and down ride like 2008/2009 but well worth the wait I am sure! Cheers folks and should be posting a photo soon!
Specs as an FYI:
TorRed
6 Speed
Nav
Summer Tires
Red Belts
Black/Ruby Red Interior
I had a quick email exchange with bob a few days ago. He said we should start to see some "movement" after the holidays. I'm hoping he's right. It would make for a very happy new year.

I know of at least 2 dealers in Texas that got 3 either delivered and/or in transit already too. That whole idea of no one being able to get more than a couple in the whole year was obviously incorrect
You're right.
I want online last night and built my Hellcat and then I want to the "dealerships" tab.
There were a couple of places that had cars "IN TRANSIT". Unless those are spoken for already. I'm not sure.
Nothing shoddy about it either. 3. Hometown dealer still trying to get me to buy his 2nd allocation at the bargain price of $10k markup- stil hasn't received a single 2015 Challenger let alone a Hellcat.
And I got a Christmas card from Bob. :browsmiley:
All that BW is saying is that Bob is no hero, he delivered so far what he was allotted , but you sir are a hero in defending this great nation we live in, thank you .
Thanks! But his "GI JOE" comment really unprofessional! He is a pot stirring person. Bob has more allotments then u think but it will all wash out soon. Again thanks for the kind words. I see admin has deleted those comments so good lets move forward pics soon.
Like rennerj, I had a brief e-mail exchange with Bob today. Basically the same thing. He also was able to change my order to include the Brass Monkey rims. I inquired about the sunroof option but he still can't get a straight answer from Dodge. He also sent me the 2015 Challenger brochure and Christmas card thanking me again for the order and hanging in there. Nice touch.
Bob did the same for me. Great guy, added Brass Monkey Wheels and sent a brochure and card. Estimates my car will be here by Spring which is perfect. Great experience with Bob at this point
Bob sent me a card and brochure. It is going in my SRT file to stay with all the other documents. Will be making a nice history book to keep everything in. I ordered a SRT392, he has been great with the updates. I even sent him some Mopar 14 stripes to put on, he is keeping them at his house laid out in spare room so they remain flat.
Anything in transit is either pre sold or the dealership is going to mark it up significantly.
As I recall, the more Hellcats a dealer sales and based upon how quickly they sell will determine future allocations. I have to believe that Bob's dealership has the right approach...sell at MSRP, zero wait on the lot, orders at MSRP at the ready...it's perfect. Not a single Hellcat will go on the floor and wait and they are submitting lots of orders. Anything that might come in that someone would back out of, probably have another buyer on their list willing to grab it.
Bob is a class act - he emails and responds to every question no matter how silly. I tried the two previous Dodge dealerships that I've dealt with for years...even the one I just bought THREE SRTs from in three years...they wanted 10k markup.
I think the market will settle by next year and those willing to pay a premium will start to slow down as the supply slowly catches up. As awesome as the Hellcat is, there are only so many of us in the market. You also have to know that Chevy and Ford won't sit by and let this crush their sales.
