I've had my Scatpack for a month and a half and I still do not know what the "Back" button does. Anybody from Dodge read this forum? I've pushed it 100 times and can't find anything it affects. :scratchhead:
It's designed to allow you to back out of pop-up dialogs on the UConnect system. For example, if you're driving along and your UConnect says "New text message from..." and displays the text message pop-up, press the "Back" button down by the hazard button to close that dialog and go back to the previous UConnect screen. It's like X-ing out of that pop-up window. Another example, you get a weather alert message: press that back button to close out the alert box.
Pretty much any time a dialog pops up that "interrupts" the current UConnect screen, back takes you back.
Thanks guys. I've seen a couple of pop up messages but I just hit the radio button to go back to listening to the radio. I haven't even tried to search for music so I guess I've never needed it yet.
I put an aftermarket Nav unit with a backup camera in my Mustang and it had a button similar that would just turn on the video from the rear camera even if you were going forward.
