I finally got my wheels yesterday. Here are the Hurst Stunners in black on my Sublime Scat Pack.
The tires are 255 45 20 up front and 295 40 20's in the rear. I'm going to go with Eibach pro springs to drop the car a bit. I need to know if I can just get the springs installed straight up, or will I need to get an alignment. If so, is there anything else I need to order in addition to the springs? Thanks.
Don't go cheap on the spring install, you definitely want to get the alignment. The shop that did my Mopar Springs included the alignment in the total.
I'm still unsure of which route to go with the height of the car. Honestly, I think the front is OK as is, but the REAR is what bothers me. I don't like the "raked" look, and I want the car squatting evenly on the front AND back.
At most I'd want to the front to drop maybe 1/4 of an inch, and the rear about an 1 1/2". So far, it sounds like the best springs to go with are the Eibach pros.
I've even considered just changing the REAR springs and leaving the front alone. What do you guys think?
Looks nice man. I had the Eibach Pro springs installed too and did need an alignment but no new camber bolts. I would do both the front and rear springs. It looks perfect to me. I'm running 245/45 and 295/40 on mine and love it.
I'm close to deciding on the Eibach pro springs. Can anyone recommend someone to do the job in NYC? Can the dealership do the alignment and camber setup?
One other option would be the MOPAR stage 1 springs. From everything I can tell, they are about the same as the Eibach Pro springs. The dealership could do both the install and alignment. I just don't know if they would install the Eibach springs or not. Plus the MOPAR springs are MOPAR blue which is a plus I think.
The standard ones. I actually like the stock ones except that they are too skinny, so these are the perfect replacements for me because they DO look so similar to the stock wheels.
