Hi you all looking to buy my first American muscle car shortly. Was curious what you all think on deal? 2015 white scat pack with. Driver con pack, scat pack appearance pack, uconnect with nav, sound group 2, 6mt , cloth interior. Msrp is 44k got them down to 40k plus ttl. Thanks for Any feedback
run it on TrueCar, that gives you what deals are being made in your area. you can build them over and over with diff equipment. Mainly, for the S/P's looks like 3k off is standard good deal. an extra 1 k on a car you don't 'Really' want isn't worth it to me, plus, when you upgrade to the A8, the 1k gas guzzler tax drops off, so A8 upgrade costs only 400 bucks.
Something you should look into on the leather too, S/P comes with something called Alcantara, it's a synthetic suede material. I personally don't like it very much, you can go cloth, then do a Katzkins or Take off upgrade, for true leather. Route i might go.
Other factors to consider if you haven't already is what else comes with leather group; heated/ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, hectic mesh bezel trim, and power tele/tilt steering column.
I wouldn't spend 40k on a car I wasn't ecstatic about, no matter how good the deal was. Find the color and options you want, and if necessary fly out and get it or better yet, just have the dealer ship it to you. I ordered mine from a dealer 4 states away and bought it on pictures alone, had them deliver it to my driveway as part of the sale. Worked out great for me, car had less than 20 miles when i got it. Was surprised it had so few miles considering the car had been on the lot for over six months.
Looks about like the average deal being had on the SP's. Just don't settle for something you don't want. Personally, I enjoy and wanted the M6 but others enjoy the A8. If you want an automatic, you can find them or order them. No matter what the deal, if it is not what you really want, you will not be happy and continually look for flaws that may not even be there.
If you're paying 40 for that, just get the upgraded stuff and work a little more.
Paid 41 for my scat with these options:
Billet Silver
6M Transmission
WRT 20x9 Matte Black Wheels
Scat Pack Appearance Group
Driver Convenience Group
UConnect with Nav
Leather Interior Group
Power Sunroof
All that came to 41,138. I would advise (unless you really don't want the sunroof and leather with heated/ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, etc) to really try to work more of a deal with your dealer.
Somebody on here has a link with all options of the car with factory invoice VS msrp and all that. I'll try to find it for you and post it up here, but try to find it, do a little math, and go from there.
Awesome thanks. So based on my price they gave msrp is 44070, dealer invoice is 41856, and now I'm at 40k . This was with out tread lightly. Wondering if there is any more room in deal.? Based on what dealer told me is were at absolute bottom nothing left.
Great thanks! Msrp is 44070 , invoice is 41856, and I have them at 40k with out tread lightly. I'm curious if there is anymore discounts I can get.? Based on what dealer says were at absolute bottom nothing more avail.
I bought from Flemington Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Flemington NJ.
I purchased my 2011 Challenger there, and had a great experience. I wound up sending 2 friends and a family member there to buy from my salesman since then. So I went back and got preferred customer discounts, I also will be getting mail-in rebates via my job refunded back to me soon.
If you're within reasonable distance to here, I would highly recommend seeing that dealer.
When I first bought my 11, I went in with my car (at the time) and said give me $X for this and give me the new car for $X. No manager ever came out to hassle or haggle with me, the sales guy came back a minute later and said ok you got a deal. I went to lunch with my car while they prepared paperwork and detailed up the new one, and I came back, signed, and drove away. It was really a pleasant experience.
With my 15 Scat, I called up my salesman, told him what I wanted, he put in the order for me no problem.
I actually didn't go make the deal until a week later due to my work schedule, and that was when I left them the deposit, but I had already gotten a VIN before that.
Make sure you REALLY want a car with a manual, or you will regret it. I made that mistake once when I bought an Olds Achieva SC with the Quad 4 and the VVT engine. I never owned a manual before, and it took me one week to realize I hated having to shift gears in rush hour traffic. That's what I like about my A5 in my 2013. I can drive it either like a stick or just put it in D.
Great thanks. Yes I definitely need to decide on whether to wait and try to order one or buy this one on lot. I'm just thinking by ordering they probably won't offer same discount As one on lot.
