Re: Challenger Powertrain Question - Part 1 - Choose your Powertrain

Joined just to vote this poll. Give us all of them, but especially the HiPo 6 speed. And give us all the colors, if I see Sublime you have a sale!!! Would be nice for Chrysler to get a 'Cuda version too! (I know it was originally a Plymouth, but Plymouth doesn't exist anymore...)

Re: Challenger Powertrain Question - Part 1 - Choose your Powertrain

hi. Pardon my opinion but I believe the Old & New Challengers are not for 'Regular Car Buyers" but somehow should be for "TRUE" MOPAR OR CHALLENGER AFICIONADOS !!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, in today's automotive industry, I cannot opt for a nice big engine and a cloth interior. I know that selecting the 425 Hemi would also probably mean selecting ridiculous addons such as rear seat DVD, genuine dead cow skin, 20" chrome polished high-maintenance rims and heated mirrors, seats, washer fluid, etc.

If I could have just one wish, it would be to do away with the current giant price markups in the packaging system of cars, and let me get the performance I want without the luxury. If I want a luxury car, I'll buy a Cadillac or a Mercedes.
I couldnt said it better myself. Most stereo upgrades offered by companies suck and the markup on most other things are ridiculous.

For $800 I would go with the 425. For a 75hp upgrade for $80 is awesome.
