I like it is best of both worlds for a stock car. Stiffer ride may suffer some, but the option should be available, yep that would be nice for the perfromance crowd.

After having driven at two different SRT event's and dogging the heck out of the the cars. I'd have to say that coupled with the computer assist it's perfect the way it is. I mean I'm a complete amateur at driving a car on a racetrack and I had no trouble hauling around the track with my foot to the floor. And then I got back into my own SRT and had a very comfortable 6hr ride back home.

They should offfer the Mopar coilover suspension as an option....
Trust me...if you drive a Challenger that has one...you will not go back!

^^^I agree, offer a coilover system and beefier sway bars front and rear and a strut bar.

Ride

I can not comment on the ride of coil overs but the Ride that I get out of my stock SRT is everything that my Wife and I could want. Thanks Mopar for building us a great Car!
Where is our T/A Hood that is been on back order for months?

Dude, have you crawled under the front and looked at the sway bars on the srt..????they are impressive...on the lx cars the the Hotchkiss set did wonders, they are twice the dia. of stock damn near, on these cars you are throwing your money away, or doing it just to say your doing it. COILOVERS as an option would have been killer, but who cares anyways, the mopar one are twice the price of the superior kwv1/2 set up's are proven for these chassis already...just simply add them when your ready. and as far asride goes the beauty of coilovers is to lower your profile without the harsness of screwing up the stock geometry, to keep a basically stock a feeling ride with a lets say 1.5 drop.
by the way the slightly lower center of gravity coupled with lets say a strut tower brace is more than enough lateral control. WHY
does everybody so anxious to dumb down their suspenions to such rigidity that the car no longer "talks" to you when you push it..? you'll know when you've gone too far whenyou roll thru a pocket and the ass end breaks loose.... and by then it's too late .......

Let's see.......My back has been bothering me since 14 yrs old...that be > 40 yrs. Picked up Spring Special in Phoenix 10:00 A.M. June 04, took a quick ride up to Denver, 14 hrs for a snooze and shower (wife made me get off the road). Checked out, washed car and drove straight to Binghamton N.Y. I'd say 2,400 miles (100 gals gas) in 50 hours speaks for the majority especially when my back felt the best in decades.
