Re: What will the Dodge Challenger weigh?
Considering that the SRT8 Charger has a curb weight of 4160lbs, and that the LY platform is about 5-6 inchs shorter, I wouldn't expect any more of a weight reduction than about 300-400lbs, putting it in the 3700-3800lb range.

I believe that 3,650 lbs was actually the published weight of the average 70's era 'Challenger' according to some Dodge literature I've reviewed...a little heavier for those which came equipped with larger motors. Since newer vehicles tend to incorporate more synthetic materials vs. steel, might it be possible that the new generation 'Challenger' may weigh-in at even less than that figure.
