Many cars, especially Chargers, are shutting off while driving.
Is Chrysler addressing this problem? There are numerous threads
on the Charger forums documenting the problem with no known solutions.

Why are there so many Tie Rod and bushing failures ( bushings such as Tension Strut, control arm, camber link, etc).
Bernie
Not aware of shutdown issues on the other LXs. If you are experiencing anything like this, bring to the dealer and have the dealer contact the tech specialist. Challengers, being "keyless go" did have a flash to address a timing condition to help battery life.

As for bushing wear, the challengers and LX SRT8s pass both powertrain durability tests and nelson ledges 24hr indurance (our standard SRT track test).

Dodge is offering a strut brace. Why would this be necessary on an SRT?

If you hold the Information Center button down in the dash for 10 seconds, you get several “hidden” programming screens. What are they and should we avoid fooling with them?

Hello Gentlemen, thanks for Designing an awesome car...I own a 06 Daytona and a 06 SRT8 Charger, I am having a problem with the front end, the struts are going bad, and problems with the tie rod ends, Been back to dealership several times.....I understand there might be a supplier problem or is this a design problem.....I still love my chargers...Ralph

Re: Challenger Chat Session 11/19/08

I understand that the 6 speed TreMec manual transmission is currently in restriction mode as far as ordering a R/T or SRT8 Challenger with the manual transmission until the beginning of 2009. Do you know why this restriction is currently in place?

Your welcome...enjoy!

We have a full coil over kit available. It's available now from your dealer.

I just wanted to ask what exactly the problem was if anyone knows. I know they had the box there, but it just didn't work out. If possible I'd like to order it and give the single 10" to my daughter for her Jeep. I guess there's no point till I find out what the problem was.

Bernie
The dual sub is not available, the system that is now in production is the only one fully developed and validated.

Re: Challenger Chat Session 11/19/08

I have a 2006 300C SRT8 and when backing out of the driveway especially when it's cold you can here a loud thump from the front end and I have read that oyhers are experienceing the same any possible clue as to what it is? Dealer says they can't duplicate the problem (which is the case most of the time never can get it to do it at the dealer).
