Re: SRT Engineers Chat Session - 6/11/08 6pm - 8pm EST

I know you guys can't comment on future products, but I'm just going to throw in my 2 cents. Not to offend anyone here but I prefer the look of the Charger SRT8 to the Challenger SRT8 so I hope and pray that you put a manual or DSG in the Charger. If it also had MDS and was about 500lbs lighter those would be huge pluses too.

That price bump was the deciding factor for me to go with an R/T unfortunately

Re: SRT Engineers Chat Session - 6/11/08 6pm - 8pm EST

I heard at the Dealership that the Challenger was going to have a 1/4 mile timer like the 0-60 timer. Is this true?

Re: SRT Engineers Chat Session - 6/11/08 6pm - 8pm EST

can you even have MDS with the 6 speed? I figured it would negate the fact that 4 cylinders shut down, due to it not being strong enough to run on the highway at 1300 rpms with only 4 cylinders.

Re: SRT Engineers Chat Session - 6/11/08 6pm - 8pm EST

Why was this method chosen?

And why was it changed in 09?
