Yeah, it did actually, right on schedule. Thanks for asking. Haven't seen a weather alert since Sunday. Other than maybe half a dozen frost warnings over the winter, I'll probably get a break from weather alerts until May or June when the evening thunderstorms start again. From now through April is pretty much sun and 70's. Dragstrip weather.

My guess is yes, they'll keep happening until you get far enough into the winter season that everything up there is "dead" already. Having lived in Maryland most of my life before moving to FL, I think those frost/freeze alerts only happen in the fall, right? But yeah, they're going to get annoying real fast.

My weather alerts started before I had even subscribed to Uconnect Access. It's part of Sirius Travel Link, so I think it comes through just as your traffic does on the nav.

Sorry to bring this back from its near death, but any update? I just got a Jeep Grand Cherokee with the same Uconnect and every freakin' day I get an advisory for extreme heat! Yes it has been hot here, but just walking to the car I already know before this stupid thing tells me! There really needs to be a checkbox to turn off. Just this feature alone would keep me from re-newing traffic/weather updates on Sirius.

After two days on the phone with uconnect tech support, they told me the only way to stop the repeated alerts, is to unsubscribe from SiriusXM. Great customer service!!!

You guys are making me jealous. I've never seen a "weather alert" on my 8.4AN. I've had this car for 2 1/2 years. My Uconnect is paid up to date. What am I doing wrong?

I believe that you need to talk to SiriusXM and unsubscribe from JUST the SiriusXM Travel Link. Knowing how most call centers are, they won't know what you are talking about. The free trial is 1 year for the radio, but 5 years for the travel link and traffic. I found this searching, but doubt it's correct:

But when an alert popped up, I chose to view. Then clicked on forecast, options, and then a menu appeared to customize weather alerts, including an option to turn them off completely.

I do think there are options for voice, text, etc., if not off
