Been looking and ready to pull trigger...

Hey guys,

Been looking at automatic Challenger SRT8's. Mostly older 2009 and 2010's. Anything special I should be looking for as far as problematic areas? I look at cars that have less than 20k miles. I have one Im checking out tomorrow. Its a 2009 Auto, Nav, just about every option less passenger power seat. It has 3k miles has had one owner. Black with gray stripes on hood.

Others have mentioned rocker panels, dash lights, and transmission clunk as issues they have seen on older SRT8's.

Welcome to CT from Minneapolis. This is definitely the place to get your questions answered. There is a thread called something like "pet peeves" or something like that, just do a search and it will tell you about a bunch of things you may want to keep an eye out for if you're looking for an older challenger. Good Luck, and welcome.

I have a 2010 on its way via carmax for me to check out. It has 3k miles. Does anyone know the production identifications of the 2010's that had piston issues? Also is this the touch screen nab radio in the pic?

Did they change the button labels or something in later radios? Some I see have a NAV button.

The 730N unit has a navigation button (hardware). The 430N unit has a navigation button on the screen.
