Here is my story

[Nov 2011 I had 1967 Ford mustang fastback for 20 years. TIME TO RESTORE IT. BUT NEEDED ALOT OF WORK to make the way I wanted a modern daily driver 30 grand at least. So as I was about to take her a part I looked at the big piture and said it would have taken a lot of man hours that I don't have ie (family) . So I sold the Stang to a friend who owns a body shop. The wife gave the ok for a new car ford mustang was out cant fit 3 kids in the back so spent the next 6 mon eye fklng 2012 Dodge challenger pulled the trigger on 4/13/12 order a 2012 pitch black RT CLASSIC black stripe 6spd Super Track Pac. 20 inch polished aluminum wheels that's it nothing more. From My4 local dealership follow the baby all though the factory.5/24 its here a friend called to say he saw commingled off the truck early. That day so at 830 pm stop at dealership looking for her ifound her back at body shop and the driver side lower back panel dented well I flipped the placed was closed so I waited for the phone call nothing so I went to the dealship said I got email car was there so anyways they accepted it wrecked. And they were gonna fix it and not tell me
Iwent crazy. A lot of fbombs ididnt want it they could not order a new one 4/30 was cut off found one with white stripe the dealership and sun roof they put the black stripe and took my wheels from my ex car lt had the same as I ordered. Got sunroof mopar pistol grip shifter. 100 gas card for my troubles for the sameprice .just added blasting bobs res delete and mopar cold air intake.

It is good that you kept track of your car. I wonder how much of that goes on. I hope you, your familly, and your new Challenger have a lot of fun together.

This happens on a regular basis. Cars get dented and damaged all the time due to various reasons. They just get them repaired. They don't refuse delivery because of a dent, or because the truck driver dropped a chain on the hood. Can you imagine what would happen if every damaged car was declined on delivery and sent back? I don't think so. They just get it fixed and since it happened presale, the damage goes unreported I believe.
BTW, you did the right thing by not accepting the car. I would have done the same thing.

Yes I understand that happens but they should let you know it was over 1grand to fix on that car and they kinds had me l had agreat deal with a mopar cai kit also 100 gas card so if I walked they made out . I could not order a new one 4/30 was cut off and 2013. 6 mon away. I feel sorry for the guy/gal who buys it .the car all ready has bondo on rear panel not saying it didn't happen to my new car but I knew what happen it would been in the back of my mind for ever. The dealership had it on the Internet as soon as I refused It paint was even dry yet.
