I didnt get the Challenger but I still bought a MOPAR!

So for some reason i couldn't get financing for the Challenger but i COULD get financing for a more expensive dodge ram (stupid huh).

So i ended up with an 2009 Ram Laramie Crew Cab... its so cool that the back leather seats are heated and cooled lol..

anyway in just in the 3 weeks i have had it, i put 24s on it, a bedrug, bed cover and a XDI cold air intake... with more to come soon..

I still LOOOOOVE the challengers and want to come to your guys socal meets...

so if you guys will let me.. i still want to be part of your club lol...

I seen the links for the spring festival and im down to do to that. Im attending the forbidden fantasy show this weekend and might be going to the mopars at the strip drag in vegas in a few weeks..

So if you guys will let me in your group i promise to play nice... and whens the next meet up!

Heres some pics... I just got the 24s put on so i dont have pics yet.. but ill get them at the show this weekend...

I went to 4 differnet dealers and waited over 2 weeks!

I sold my f150 supercrew thinking with a 714 credit score and $10,000 down i could get a challenger easy... didnt work out... and here i was now without a vehicle for work

But they said with the factory rebates and incentives and blah blah i could get a $46,000 ram for $34,000... but i couldnt get a $34,000 challenger... something about more equity in the truck for the banks... anyway.. im happy.. but yeah... i wish i coulda got the chally

I really can't understand why the type of vechicle would have made a difference in them approving or declining a loan for you. A 714 credit score with 10K down should have gotten you what ever vechicle you were after.I can tell you for sure if you came into the dealership i'm at with 10k and a 714 you would have driven home in one of the Challengers we have on the lot.

Maybe they try to pawn off the trucks since they are harder to sell?

Seem a shame that some of the buildings A/C ductwork fell into your brand new truck when you opend the hood!

oh we have a comedian hahaha (as i look down at the ground kicking a rock thinking to myself that my intake doest look THAT much like a/c ductwork).

anyway Thats what i was thinking.. thats why i sold my car.. i was thinking with what i was working with there is NO WAY im not getting some kinda chally... but 4 dealers, 2 weeks and 1 rental car later showed me otherwise...

I wonder how similiar the hemis are in the chally and the ram..

I know they are rated different.. my truck is rated at 390 hp and 407 tq with the 5.7 lt... thats more than the rt chally.. if some nice parts come out for the challenger, would thay maybe work on the ram?
