Now everything is broken...

This is the newest message I've gotten here, It came up when I clicked on "Thanks" for a post.

you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Besides this, drop-down menus no longer function and I can no longer see thumbnails, send PM's, use smilies nor any of the enhanced features of posting such as bold, italics, etc. I've tried using 4 different browsers all with the same results, and I'm sure I'll discover more that no longer functions if I stick around long enough.

Everything used to work fine here, but no more. This is not the way to keep members happy.

BTW, my access here:

I don't remember, but it was just clicking on the "Thanks" button that didn't work, nor does any of the other features I noted above, the most annoying being not able to view thumbnails and have the drop-down menus. If I can't even see what others are posting, what's the point?

BTW, the smiley you see happened because I remembered the text to enter to make it so...

Nothing has changed with your site permissions. Very strange.

What browsers have you tested with? Trying with Chrome myself here.

I don't have nor use Chrome. I've tried Firefox, Safari, OmniWeb, Camino and Opera.

You might try visiting the forum in Safe Mode with Networking. See if it's something running on your machine that's causing it. If it works in safe mode, you can work backwards from there until you figure out what it is. A Guy

The full one, and I've tried to change it, and that doesn't work either. I don't know what happened, because everything here was working fine one day, and the next I found myself in the mess. I haven't changed a thing on my system either. What's been changed on this web site?

Guy, the safe mode won't work because I'm on a Mac. Hint: Safari browser

Ahh, I know nothing about Mac, sorry. I do have friends that have Safari on their Windows PC for compatibility testing, but the last version is so old, I doubt they are of any use anymore. A Guy

As far as I'm aware nothing that major has been altered on the site to change these functions.

Have you tried giving your browser a cleaning of it's cache and cookies?
Have you heard of any other users experiencing these issues?
I found an article that provides some tips when experiencing Safari issues.
It requires you to put the system in safe mode, and seems a little intense.

Test these suggestions out at your own risk:
