When I got to work, VinWIN said it was still at the rail yard, but I knew the site was slow to update, so I held out hope. A couple hours later, I said forget it, stop looking, who cares, it will come.

Then I found a post by a buddy on this site due in the same day and time to the same dealership! We were on the same train and I said YES! Today is the day! Called the dealer and they said “not yet”! I figured they were slow and uniformed only to find out later, they were correct. Not today. But they told me I was loaded on the truck and would be there late that night or early the next morning the latest!

I figured, one more day won’t kill me, I can do that...

Noon the next day they contact me - “still no car”.

I WAS GOING NUTS!!!!!

Turns out, it did come in that afternoon, but my advise is to try to forget about it, plan on June 15th, Hell plan on the 30th - then you won’t be disappointed but rather ELATED when you get ‘the call’!!!!! Can’t tell u what a letdown it is to be expecting and for it all to fall through.

Here’s a link to the pics...

I expect some from you when the day does arrive, and trust me, you WILL be elated!!!!
My B5 blue SRT8 was updated this morning, it's at the railyard in Calgary!!!

When it does arrive at the dealership i will get pics!

I stopped at a Dodge Dealer on the way home from work tonight as I saw a B5 Blue 6spd SRT8 Challenger there. I am in my 6k mile 480 rwhp GTO that is as clean as it was new, and the sales guy comes up and says (after the small talk) "since we're slow we will sell that one for 5k over sticker"! I literally started laughing and asked "why?". On and on about the fastest car made (wrong), rare color, all dealers are marking them up, etc. I told him "thanks but no thanks for more than 51k. Jokers are still at it, I guess. What a shame as I really liked the look of the car and could have been interested at a reasonable price considering the market we are in.

Didn't come in here for a pissing match but if you insist...when you can get that 4200lb boat in the 11's for under thirty grand total, talk s#it. I said I liked the SRT8 and did not want to go there. I am a car guy, not a fanboy.

hey ngc time to buy a new book ! I ordered a b5 blue classic rt and i think it will be the most common color of all 2009 classics. The cars too new to be talking rarity at this point and besides rare doesnt mean always something good !! By the way add shopblowers to your list of types of people and look in the mirror for exhibit A. You dig?

Why get annoyed,I think the GTOs look like Grandams with a bigger engine.
Yep I do agree the Challengers are boats,But we and many others enjoy our boats.
Geeeee I think at least 10 people a week comes up to us and want to talk about Challengers opps I mean boats.
What about the GTOs?Do people walk up to tell you and ask you that you should upgrade that Grandam???JQ
