Cruse Control Issue

One thing really good about Nevada are the wide open Roads. On our second road trip to the central part of the state we had a opertunity to run a 30 mile stretch at speeds of 100 to 120MPH. As many of you know the car wanted to shift down and go! even at that speed. I noticed that the speed control would not set above 100MPH, if I set it at 105 it would drop back down to 100. I guess I know why they do that but I thought it was interesting. Looking for good radar detector, any Recomendations.....Later

Re: Cruse Control Issue

Probably a safety thing. My Road King's (motorcycle) cruise control won't set at any speed above 85 mph.

Re: Cruse Control Issue

I can honestly say I never would have figured that out. We have no such roads around here. Must be nice...

Re: Cruse Control Issue

Okay I can live with 100 MPH limit on the Cruise Control, that’s acceptable
A Cruise Control on a HD is not----ever!
