Re: need re-assurance

Keep the GT500 since it gave you that good drive feeling.

Re: need re-assurance

Your choice is a matter of taste & style.
The GT might be a little faster, but the SRT is on another level-PERIOD.

The drivability (ride comfort) due to the independant suspention of the SRT is no comparison to the solid axel of the GT therefore a much improvement.
The brakes on the SRT are 10 X better, and as far as interior/comfort,well, let me just say my SRT is more comfortable than the couch in my house.
You made a great choice, and I would bet that when you get your ride & report back you will agree...

Congrats on a great purchase, and be prepared for the "Rock star" effect this car will have on your life-Enjoy Dude!

Re: need re-assurance

You won't regret buying the SRT. Like most of us, I bought my SRT without first driving it. It is an awesome car. It has great styling, acceleration, handling, braking, cargo space, etc. Also, just wait until you see the reaction of others to your car- you'll soon find out what we mean by getting the "rock star" treatment!

Re: need re-assurance

I looked at and drove a GT500 and I am very happy I decided to purchase the SRT8.

When I drove the GT500 I felt that it was nice but it was not as finished off as the SRT. The SRT8 just elicits emotion when driving it. And it backs up those feelings with handling and Hemi power.

So as BB said "SRT all the way"

Re: need re-assurance

SRT8 is another level of car, it is more a luxury hotrod, handles much better, and has better crash safety etc.

You wont regret.

PS GT 500 is nice too but I think less of a car.

Re: need re-assurance

Filter, You will be so impressed and taken aback with this vehical that you will not EVER regret going this direction. As far as what you mentioned as the drive up, there is no comparison. This thing drives like no other with the power like no other with this ride! Gt 500 a nice car, this is a beast that out rides the gt 500 hands down oh and BTW the 3 that wanted to play , well they are still back there some where !! You are not ready for this this this, incredible creation. I bought mine sight unseen and waited almost 6 months, i have had it for 2 and 1/2 months and am still in disbelive. All i can say is, just start preparing yourself for when you cannot drive her !

Re: need re-assurance

If you are six foot or taller you will enjoy not having the steering wheel between your knees like the mustangs.
