Hopefully they will come out with the srt 6.4 and a special edition version of the challenger (retro/TA) or ? next year, to offset the camaro comming out.

I found this post on another site. Has anyone else heard that Hemi-orange will not be offered on the 2009s?

Chrysler headquarters and he sent me an internal brochure for employees only regarding the specks of the 2008 Challenger.....it will be sold in 3 colors: Hemi orange (limited to 2008 and then it will be gone forever) black and silver.

Allpar quotes OH2O as saying:
" 2009 colors will include but not be limited to, Bright Silver, Brilliant Black, High-Performance Red, HEMI Orange, Dark Titanium Metallic and Stone White. so, its probably still in.

Hemi Orange is in for '09. They'd be insane to disco that color.

It's my guess the other "Hi Impact" colors will be similar to those offered on the Dodge Charger.

Anyone know if the 09s are going to be competitive with the Charger suspension-wise. I was disappointed to hear the 08 model is mushier than my car. The old Challenger was usually set up stiffer than the old Charger models.

I hardly think "mushy" accurately describes the SRT8 Challenger's suspension. Slightly softer sprung is more like it.

I thought he was referring to the '08 Charger ? Yes, I liked very much the "feel" of my 1970 Challenger's suspension; especially when in hilly country i.e. driving on Dynamite Road in Scottsdale AZ.
