Re: '09 Challenger R/T Gathered Specs / Equipment & Info Related

I love the 18" machined wheels and the "Go-wing".

I can't wait to order my R/T with the full T/A get-up.

Now if they'd only offer some decent colors.....

Re: '09 Challenger R/T Gathered Specs / Equipment & Info Related

The 2009 SRT will not be available in Hemi-Orange and will not have the carbon-fiber tape stripe.

The R/T will be available in Hemi-Orange, will have only 55 less hp, much cheaper, no gas guzzler tax, and a lifetime warranty (as opposed to 3 years). Also, with the money saved, you can customize it. I'm beginning to wonder how quickly the 2009 SRTs will be sold. Many will opt for the R/T for the reasons stated above and many will wait for the 6.4 500+ hp engine in 2010.

Has anyone who wanted an SRT changed their mind? I am now leaning towards an R/T.

Currently, Dodge and Chrysler are offering a Lifetime Powertrain Warranty on most of their vehicles (I have it on my 2008 Jeep Sahara Unlimited). SRT vehicles and diesels do not qualify for the lifetime powertrain warranty.

Also, if you go the route of buying one of the 'Max Care' warranty products, they are lifetime now as well (instead of being 5 years/50K miles or some other time/mileage limitation).

Thanks for the great photos.....

I wish someone would make some 20" wheels that match the concept wheels.

Still don't see hood pins yet either.

Re: '09 Challenger R/T Gathered Specs / Equipment & Info Related

i really want an R/T vert... if they were to say "no convertible" i would buy an 09. i really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, REALLY want a convertible 5.7, 6 speed, with tracpak.

The money I would save would allow me to get some sort of turbo setup...
