Dont be so fast to say no. I got really good with one of the reps at the ny auto show, to the point that he took my info down in his own pda to let me know about stuff and throw me on a brochure mailing list for the challenger, and after talking to him for about a half hour i asked him so, you knew it was coming, what can you tell me about the 2010. I gave him the whole sob story bout my car, and he said well I cant exactly give you much info on anything but "i've heard rumors on the inside about a ragtop and plum crazy." Id have to say that with the way he said it he was trying to tell me something but im not gonna go out and say 2010 convertible is a go. Sounds like its a heavy possibility again...

I read that the SRT engineers said they didnt make these models convertable because the chassis would need to be heavily reinfoced to support the weight.

If the Unions do not give concessions, the Fiat deal will fall through by April 30.

Chrysler will then be faced with bankruptcy or will be sold off in pieces.

If that unfortunate thing happens, forget about a convertible. Our 2008-09 Challengers will truly become "limited' editions.
