Making the T/A hood scoop functional

You need these parts, 5.7 Hemi Cold air intake Part number is 77070044 for the SRT 6.4 the part # is 77070043. The 44 and 43 part # will work on the 2012 Challenger R/T 5.7 only. (Why I have no clue, its just what the ad says). The hood Vent Box that fits under the hood part number is 82212435 I hope this helps. I got this information from E-Bay Motors there are several kits available.

A few people make ducts for the standard hood and I think Cervinis makes something that ducts both scoops and covers most of the underside of the hood. Looks really slick.

Thanks Bob I will look that up. It would be nice to take advantage of those hood scoops a bit and dump the air over my Mopar CAI. Thanks for the pictures and ideas.

E-Bay part numbers

Well I gave you the part numbers, I bought the ones that the seller verified them as 5.7 parts. A couple of those were contacted WERE dealers and every thing was for a 5.7, oh by the way My Challenger is a 2012 and I didn't have to change the bottle I was told it was the 2011 only. The kit works awesome on my R/T.

Are you talking about the vents in the snorkle opening? or the cuts in the hood itself?

When you buy the MOPAR underhood venting kit you get new snorkle opening pieces.
