Any R/T Classic owners out there remove their heritage side stripes?
And if so, what was your process for doing it? Did you use a blow dryer, a heat gun, etc. Also, how long did you wait to take them off after you took delivery of your whip and do you think that affected the process?
Easy peasy, as they say. Waited about a year. I used a hair dryer, started at a corner, and patiently lifted off at a steady pace. Used ubbing alcohol to remove residue (mostly outline of stripe) and then washed and waxed. You'd never know they were there. I pretty much removed all badging except the "hemi" on the sides of the hood and I am seriously considering removing them as well.
If it's a Classic,I'd leave the stripes, but the hood to fender would have to go. If the RT
looked like the R/T badge it might be OK,I'd need to see it,but the one's available now
look like JC Whitney add on's.

To each their own, but, i am convinced the heritage stripes are extremely tasteful and integral to what many consider the best looking Challenger in the entire lineup - the R/T Classic !!

That's what I did on mine, It is a 2013 R/T and it had the hood to fender stripes. I took it out on the second day (by myself)
