I've thought about removing the stripes and having matching ghost stripes painted on instead...At this point I haven't done much more thank think about it and what it might look like.
No real point buying a RTC if you don't dig the side stripes.
I agree, yet disagree. I would just buy an R/T plus and do what I want with it. But, the Classics are the only R/Ts in the impact colors and those Envy wheels which I love. When I upgrade to a RTC, I'm removing the stripes. I've never been able to accept that they came on the 1971 and up models, yet the current generation is based on the 1970.

I would only buy an RT-C for the envy wheels, remove the heritage stripes and deeeeebadge. Though, I'm not a spoiler fan either and you can only get the spoiler delete options on the R/T plus, not the classic.

Exactly. I don't care for the spoiler either. The go-wing spoiler would look even more retro, but good luck getting it on a classic without having to get a totally new and repainted trunk lid. Why does Dodge make these options so difficult.
I bought the RT classic instead of the SRT just because of the old school look with the stripes.
Same here.

I love the side stripes don't get me wrong but after thinking long and hard about it I wanted to go the 09-10 srt look.
i debaged the fenders.
easiest way IMO to remove the side stripes, if you have any bit of a fingernail you can start gently picking at a corner on the stripes until it flips ups and grab a piece and start pulling slowly. they came off super easy.
hardest part: cleaning the residue off. you'll spend al ot of time rubbing and waxing the sides where the stripes were to get off the lines. but i do like the clean look.
