I've got the straights...I was afraid they might be too loud inside the car before I put them on, but they are just right! Very tame when you are out of the throttle but very loud and aggressive when you step on it. There is some drone, but with the six speed you can shift around it eaisly.
Thanks! I have pretty much decided to go with the straights. At $106 for the straights, and $192 for the glasspacks, it wouldn't be a tragedy if I had to switch to the glasspacks later....
I think I'll order them tomorrow...

The glasspacks are awesome... it has a very deep and mellow sound while cruising. Full throttle and she roars. Together with a CAI and you got one mean sounding Challenger.

So now that I've gotten enough information, and I know this is a job that can be accomplished in my driveway (I even discovered this weekend that I already had an exhaust pipe cutter already from Harbor freight )
I'm ready to order it for my six speed. So the decision is; Straight Pipe, or glasspack version; I certainly don't mind a bit more growl, and the stock sound, will nice, is quite up to 70's standards. I am inclined to go for the straight pipe solution
Pros, Cons?
I AM INTERESTED IN THESE TOO BUT WILL ADDING THESE TO THE CAR VIOLATE THE WARRANTY??????
My dealer looked at the straight pipes and said thats cool. Then continued to replace the Differential anyway. So my thought is it will not effect warranty.

Warranties don't work that way. You mess with the exhaust and the warranty on your exhaust is gone. you mess with your brakes don't ask dodge to fix any brake problems under warranty. Because I mod my exhaust, it doesn't void warranties on the entire car. It only voids only what Dodge can prove the mod effects.
Example...
If I mod the exhaust, dodge would have a hard time proving that it caused my oil pump to go out. But if I went with very short open exhaust and my valves warped. It would be safe to say that they could prove the exhaust caused the damage.

I finally got around to Installing these today. Took me a while about 2 hours; ****ty ramps, ****ty tools. Straightforward, though. For the money, best 110 bucks ever spent. The starights are awesome, not at all too loud. Wonderful burble, love the improved sound at idle. Almost identical to stock at cruise, really opens up at WOT. And throw in the lovely random exhaust pop at deceleration, and you have a wonderful vintage sound. Just amke the cut as indicated, slip the flange over th existing pipe, use the stock brackets, reinstall the stock tips, and you're good to go.Tommorow I'm planning to lift the front and install the skip shift eliminator real quick

I agree with this assessment. The burble at idle is far superior to the stock. Overall a much improved sound. I am also experiencing 'drone' at somewhere around 1800-2200.
But I did notice, since I cut these myself on a pair of bad ramps, had to do some wiggling, the drivers side pipe between the middle muffler and my cut was wobbling a bit, not sure if I dislodged it (or disrupted the tack? couldn't wriggle myself close enough to see) I'm wondering if I induced a leak ion the system. I'll have to pay mind to it. If so, I'll have to take it somewhere to get it on a lift and see it it needs to be tightened / tack welded...
