Blue

Anyone notice that on the Dodge site if you build a Deep Water Blue RT the color is different than a Deep Water Blue SE? I think the RT shows the B5 blue which is not available til spring.

Re: Blue

The color on the build it part of dodge.com is inaccurate and looks more like the old Jamaica blue that Plymouth had.

The actual color can be see on other dodge vehicles if you go to a dealer. I have seen three different dodge vehicles on the lot in Deep Water Blue and it looks kinda of like a mix of the patriot blue which is dark and the bright electric blue. It is brighter then patriot, but is deeper then electric blue.

I also noticed the deep water blue is a bit chameleon (sp?) in that it changes look based on the lighting from full sun to cloudy to early evening.

Re: Blue

Yea, you can't go by the web site. I've seen the '09 Journey and a smaller sedan both in DWB and the color looks fabulous. I'm glad I ordered this color! Go to the dealer and see if they have any on the lot.

Re: Blue

That looks much better than the one I picked for my avatar.

Re: Blue

Heh, I feel the same way. Only three more months! What all did you order on your F-package, bwbike? I grabbed mine with only the nice sound system, and the manual, obviously. This picture has split me up on colors though..that DWB really does look like some of the pearlescent paints you see on higher-end vehicles that change colors as you look at it (See: Lamborghini LP460 Superlaggera, or the silver on the Mercedes SLK550 AMG Black), and I really like that.. May have to run to the dealership and change it up a little.

Re: Blue

I only got the 276 watt radio w/6 speakers and the engine block heater (in addition to the Tremec 6-speed). That's all I need or wanted.

I looked at the deep water blue color on both the '09 Journey & Avenger at the local dealer. Looking at those cars confirmed that I made the correct color choice. I didn't really notice any pearlescence about it, but both cars were rather dirty.

Re: Blue

I went in and looked today also. Saw a Sebring in the DWB. Not sure how sold I am on it. Now if it were the Electric Blue, I'd be all over it..
