What rpm do you launch at? Try leaving around 1k and work your way up to no higher than 2k. Also get some good drag radials. Post a picture of one of your timeslips so we can see what's going on.

You can pick up some power with a 180*stat, just turn on the front defroster, the fans will run and hold the lower temp.A K&N drop filter will help a little also.I get 2.00 60s on the crap rsa's. Brake torque to 1000-1100 rpm, leave on the third yellow and roll into the throttle, about one second. If you get a 2.00 60 you will be in the 13's. My only quarter mile pass was on a modified tune and I added too much fuel, otherwise it would have been a 13.0 or 13.1 It took me several months and 30 passes to get my launch perfected. Practice, practice practice.I've been drag racing 58 years.

It was fun wasn't it, i hadnt been to the track in 9-10 years.. I guess we just have to keep on going to get some more practice. I really wanted 12's but 13.1 @107 was best i could do out of 3 runs on the F1's..

Yeah I know it's frustrating man, I've only been to the track twice. (last night and last wednesday night) and have only made 7 passes in the car. My best time is in my sig and with my perf mods: k&n drop in, 93 canned tune, flowmasters, t-stat, and the nittos... you figure i could go close to 13 flat or 13.1 or 13.2x but I just haven't perfected the launch yet...
i DO know that you can't go WOT off the line. I tried it last night on my last pass just to see what would happen and she spun lol. 60ft was like 2.1x and ran a 1/4 of 13.96 at like 99 mph lol.
My strategy right now is hit ESP button to turn traction off, put it in autostick mode and let car shift itself, brake torque to 1500 rpm and roll into throttle off the line at about 90% then as soon as the car moves a couple feet just floor it. I'm still a complete newbie but I think that's the right method for these automatic cars. And if i spun during that run I had then i definately did not feel it or it spun very very little. Felt like it hooked good off the line using that strategy

How much stall do you recommend for daily driving and dragracing. My cars four days old, second day I owned it already replaced the thermostat, K&n intake, flowmaster american thunder exhaust system. Some nittos are tc are next. Thanks for the help.

If the ethanol is the light end of the fuel, maybe we could have a metal pot sitting over an open fire, and pour gas in the pot and let the fire heat it up until the ethanol cooks off
