Even for the 3 things was still cheaper the cai kit

Also adding functional hood scopes, i know these simple help remove heat

Adding a K&N filter won't do a thing for performance. In fact there was a study done on Mustangs, and it showed that the car LOST HP over the stock element. On top of that you will let more dirt into your engine. The charger tube will get rid of the goiter so you can put a catch can, that's about it. I would take that money and use it for a cold air intake.

If you want performance get a quality cold air intake from Legmaker, or AFE. These two have been tested to make the most HP, a short ram intake at least.

Go over to the LXFORUMS.COM and do a search...there are many 3rd party tests on CAIs...

I had a 63 series K&N on mine, I did like the the minor differences it made to sound. I changed shortly after to legmaker, not much noticeable difference because I had added other mods at the same time. I do, however, like the way it looks in the engine bay. I didn't change for any other reason than it came in a package deal with my tuner and because I had read so many times that LMI was a better quality CAI. I still have the 63 series if I choose to switch back...although, I Probably won't. I didn't add it to get get gains (admittedly it would be nice), I just believe most engines needs to breathe a little better, so it's something I usually look to do.

But for what it's worth, I didn't have any real issues with my K&N, I liked it and wouldn't rule it out for a vehicle in the future. Hope this helps!

Did you notice any noise difference with charge tube? And what type of air filter are you using?

What people think it the silencer on the intake tube is NOT a silencer, it's designed to smooth the backflow pulses from the intake valves opening.

AND, this one is even better
