I'm a bit confused. I've seen some members (Seamaster, ChildsPlay, and others) post that their MDS is not working properly. It certainly seemed to be a problem with the hardware. I have acheived between 24-25 mpg highway driving with my R/T. My question is that I have old software in my EVIC. My software (CCN Version which seems to be the older software) says 8/20/08 V7.08b and it only shows a straight line in the MDS.....no graphics like some newer versions show. My Chally build date is 10-08. How come I am able to acheive better gas mileage without the newer software? ChildsPlay has the newer version CCN (V7.10 11/24/08...so obviously a newer build-date Chally) and he only gets 20.5 mpg highway. He should also have the newer hardware since he has a newer built Chally. So why isn't his MDS working. Something about this whole MDS mess doesn's seem right. So, is it a hardware problem? Maybe not.
