Mufflers or no mufflers?

I'm debating on what to do with my exhaust. I've removed the suitcase, and other than it being a bit louder on startup and at WOT, the car is still too quiet for me. I'm considering either replacing the resonators with something a bit louder, like some Dynomax Super Turbos or similar, since I liked the sound on my Impala SS. The other option is just some straight pipes, since I'll program out the MDS whenever the Predator arrives. Please don't tell me it'll be too loud, if I still had it hosted you could hear my 480+rwhp GTO with open headers that I drove almost daily...
I've just never heard a Hemi with open exhaust, anyone have one I can listen to?

Thanks!

I'm with you.. I have had straight pipes on all my cars. I don't think its that loud, but its all what you get use to. If I had a challenger, that would be my first mod. I would cut the mufflers off and start it up to see what it sounds like, and then go from there.

I'll probably just do that. BTW- Your s/n looks familiar...I used to be on LS1.com/CamaroZ28.com as SAM98TAM6- If you've been around the 'net for a loooong time, I'm the guy that painted his T/A Millenium Yellow and was on the GM poster back in the day. (circa 2001)

Oh yeah, I've been around a long time..... I've still got my 99 Trans Am and I've had just about everything else since they discontinued the f-body in 2002. I had 2, 04 GTO's, z06, 2 mustang gt's and now the c6. I tried to buy a Challenger about a month ago, but they didn't want to give me hardly anything for the vette, so I'm gonna wait a while. How do you like your challenger??? I thought it was pretty quick, but coming out of the vette makes anything seem a little slow.. What do you think of the Hemi in comparison to the ls motors?
