Need info on stroking my R/T

Anyone stroke their R/T? I am considering a 410 Stroker kit and was wondering if anyone has done it and if they also did any head and cam work? (if it was necessary)

- Thanks

My future plans involve the 410 kit....So I haven;t done it yet....BUT I am doing my head and cam work this year, then doing the stroker later.

Just my opinion....but it would be pretty silly to increase your displacement by 20% without doing the head and cam work, to breathe.

Me personally and going with a set of ported and polished 6.1L Heads, the .541" lift VCT cam, a ported and polished 6.1L Intake manifold, 6.1L injectors and rails, and a 100mm TB to top it off....like i said, that is this year...prolly in april, then I am ready for the stroke later!!

Also dont forget you will wanna go with LT headers, more likely with 1 7/8" primaries, and upgrade the mid pipes and the cat-back to full 3". The 410 with all of the supporting mods I have listed Should yield 550-575 bhp without any problems.

Lemme Know how yours goes then....LOL.

I will have everything ready to go on mine when she gets to emerge from hibernation in april, but the stroker kit itself may be a winter project next year, or if we have bad weather for a couple weeks I may order and slap it in. Seeing as it is basically a bottom end swap, it will be done in the car without removing the heeads...

This might be a dumb question but,.... Is it possible to stroke an auto r/t? If so, what's different?
