Pics of my R/T, 2010 Mustang GT and 2010 Camaro SS

Photographer asked us to park our cars side by side since it was the first time all three modern-era muscle cars were at the show. What do you think?

I think it would be a hard choice figuring out which to drive. I'd opt for the Vette on Sunday, the Challenger on every other day. Then drive the other beaters in inclimate weather.

I gotta admit the Camaro looks pretty good in blue, at least from the front 3/4 view (hate the rear styling which to me looks cheap with all of that black plastic and mufflers/resonators sticking out in plain sight from below the bumper . . . at least they're mostly hidden on the Challenger). I really like the styling of the '05-'09 'Stangs but the '10 hasn't grown on me at all.

Of course I like the Challenger the best. It's one of the best looking cars ever made, by any manufacturer, in any era.

I'll man up and admit the new Camaro CAN look good. The 10 Mustang GT finally grew on me, especially the convertible. As long as the Camaro isn't silver!! Nice rides man.

Well, asking MOST Challenger/Mopar guys about the Camaro or Mustang is like showing bi movies to straight men.... ahem! But I digress.... I went with three friends to Barrett Jackson Auto Event (Scottsdale), last winter. Keep in mind two of my friends are Ford/Mustang nuts and the other is a Pontiac guy (a sad one right now). We sat in and looked around all three cars and here was the GENERAL concences. They ALL liked the Challenger body best with the Mustang second..... And we also ALL liked the gauges/instrument cluster/center consol best in the Camaro. We liked the back seat, trunk and engine compartment of the Challenger best with the Camaro and the Mustang tied for second. So the collective vote was 09 Challenger, 10 Mustang and new Camaro in that order. And the Pontiac/GM guy was right there. Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder and half of the scoring is subjective.
The bottom line is who would have thought years ago these three icons would be battling on the street again... much less Nascar as soon as GM mans up!

I really like that blue Camaro. Like the black Mustang a lot, too, but they gotta lose that bra on the front of the car. I didn't even know they still made those.
