Post Swap the hood plugs for real scoops: PICS

Here are some pictures I thought I would share if you were wondering how to remove those plugs that are in your hood. Yes they are plugs and not real hood scoops. For about $80 I got some real hood scoops from BMC Performance. They were a breeze to install. Took about 5 minutes.

Check it out: (PS. I know my car is dirty!)

1. Insert cardboard under existing hood plug.

2. Insert another piece of cardboard. This should pop the tabs out.

3. Hood plug pops out. New ones go in and snap down.

It looks exactly the same as the stock one. Its just a real scoop and not a plug. Now the air can actually get into the engine compartment.

See my post above. When installed they look exactly the same.
