Wow and a post from my buddy Walnetto too ! Very Cerebral fellow and community service minded... Walnuts is another good fellow.
Do what you like with your cars folks - you bought em - you enjoy them the way you like. More, less, original, copycated, whatever. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Have fun.
you can now buy a used SRT for the same price as a new SXT
its not about being rich and elite.
buy a SRT w/ your $25,000 if you can handle the power....the only problem is how to mod it? there would be no way to make it look like a better model then when its already the top model......i guess youd have to wait until the 6.2sc comes out next year
then you could add whatever grill or stripes IT has.....then you could pretend that you had a 6.2sc
I think it's not the first time he's admitted he likes to get people going on the forum, so really he is just a troll. Maybe the longest lived troll on the forum but a troll still the same, like the Honda guy who joined just to compare his accord with the Challenger.
On a side note I've been having plumbers come by to get some bids on some work and I end up having car conversations with all of them about the dodge and my 60s truck, draws out the process but it's fun.
I guess we are using the term "mod" for anything added to the purchased vehicle. Maybe I should rename my signature "Dress Up". Lots think mods should be used for modifications to the engine for extra power.
"mod" is short for modify...so if you do anything to your car different from stock you have modded your car.
Note it may also be copying a look that has already been done before as huggy pointed out
Huggy is splitting a hair however, and doing a poor job of it at that.
An owner who puts a spoiler on a car that didn't have one before has modified (or modded) his car.
Dang all these S.E. Wisconsin guys in this thread, I wanna join!
(zooms his 3.5L around the pack)
I think I'm with Huggy.... don't mind the Cloning thing too much. Though then I think to make a true clone, you need a 6.1L in there.
I'm surprised I haven't seen any R/T's cloning themselves into a SRT8.
I think I personally would get a new R/T and get the spoiler delete, remove the emblems and walla! Or better get, build a custom high flow single outlet system and make it like a pre 11' SE.
1. Nice car kid - keep up the good work.
2. Huggy you are a ****. Keep living in your mom's basement buddy. Thats the only reason you can afford a Challenger.
