Confirm EVIC extras still good on 2012 SXT

Hi all...

Thanks to this forum I found out about the "extra" EVIC functions.

Just a note that I tested this on my new 2012 SXT (no special options), and it works.

Looking at the basic temperature screen, hold the up-arrow for 10 seconds, then hold the down-arrow until the new info appears. I didn't check it all, but there are lots of things to set, and also engine temp, oil pressure, etc.

Wow! This menu is great. It gives a digital RPM reading and even battery voltage. Gives engine raw temp and average temp... Not that I'd need to know this stuff any time soon, but its cool nonetheless. I didn't wanna do too much after I saw that menu that stated something about software.

Doesn't work on my 2012 R/T Classic. Dunno why but I've tried all the configurations with no luck. Tried it from the Compass screen as suggested by many and nothing. The display simply stays just like it is..ocked in place. All the other EVIC functionw work fine including 0-60, engine temp, oil pressure and temp, etc.

Go figure engineers.
