Dodge Challenger 3.6L Reliability

Hey everyone. I was wondering how everyone's been so far with their car's reliability? Any major issues so far for our V6 engines, 3.5L owners please chime in.

Also, what's your mileage, especially those that use it to daily drive.

Mark

3.6s had a bunch of head issues early. I'll check with my mechanics to see if they are still seeing 3.6 head issues currently.

Not much of a gear head, but what exactly should I be looking for? I have 12,450 miles on mine. About to drive it from east to west coast in a month and half. Everything has been great. I drove it 10 hours straight once, filling up once in between.

Thanks for the reply by the way. Still planning to get the 392 or whatever comes up for 2014/15.

I have a 2012 SXT with a 3.6. I'm about to hit 20,000 miles and have owned it 11 months. I haven't had even the slightest issue with the engine. So far so good.

WhiskeyR: thanks for the reply. Aside from the engine, is everything else good as well?

Dodge Challenger 3.6L Reliability

2011 3.6, daily driver,about 27k miles... engine/tranny runs sound. No issues.

Handled 12 hour drive straight to (and from) Kentucky without issue.

The only issue I've had was the airbag light. It would go on and off when you'd move the passenger seat. I had to take it in to get fixed and then a month later it started happening again. So I took it back a second time 3 months ago and haven't had an issue since. I've read this is fairly common. A slight inconvenience, but not a big deal by any means.

I love my SXT.

I'm at right around 67,000 miles on my 2011 3.6. No problems. Just keep up on your maintenance.
