How do I Install MOPAR Shift Knob

I just purchased my '13 Challenger (automatic) and ordered a MOPAR shift knob. On the MOPAR site it said tools and instructions included.. Of corse all that came in the box was the shift knob.
If anyone has a clue let me know please.

I have an '09 SE, and if the shift knob is held on the same way then the trim piece at the bottom of the shifter should pop down (careful because mine cracked when I did this, even though it isn't needed) and then there will be a ring holding the shifter on. Take that ring off and the shifter knob should slide right up (easier to work with in the neutral position). That's how mine was held on, hope this could help.

Thanks, I think that should do it. I appreciate it.

Just a pic-like tool to help with the trim and clip on the shifter, and a phillips head screw driver for the new shifter.

When you mentioned a MOPAR shift knob, is that the chrome T handle? Can you post a pic please? I've thought about a different shifter on mine, just not sure which one. Thanks!

To add the new Mopar Shiter on:
1. you have to shut the car off
2. Pop off the plastic chrome looking plate off using a soft set of plastic tools.
2b. Take the clip out of the middle part to disengauge the gears.
3. Put the shifter down to "drive" area.
4. Pop off the stock shifter. It will just slide off the shifter.
5. Put your new Mopar Shifter on and tighten up the allen screw with provided allen wrench.
6. Replace the clip and your done. Try to keep the shifter straight. Otherwise it could come loose on you.

Enjoy!
4. Put the chrome looking placard back on.
