interior lighted led cup holders

Has anyone installed the led lighted cup holders and led lighted door sills in their Challenger SE's?

Also, my dealer can not seem to find this item listed as available.

Does anyone know if the light package sold for the charger would work in the challenger?

I think the door sills only light up on the SRT's and maybe the higher end RT's. They have a lighted sill already and since SE's don't they are just for show.

Have not heard of the lighted cupholders, but also dont see why you would want this.

After ten or twelve beers sometimes its hard to find the cupholder.

You wouldn't want to spill any beer in this rig.

Re: interior lighted led cup holders

"Supposedly" the only way to do this
(according to my parts department guy)
is to buy the whole frickin console for $242.00..

So I went to Pep Boys and got these 15" long LED lights for less than $30.00 and put them in..

Lights up perfect now, especially when there are things in the cupholders..
(A little bright when they are empty, but the front one holds the ash tray all the time..)
.

.

Once I figured out how to get the top part of the console 'up' a little
to fish the wire through, it was easy..
(you just pry up the "top" section, duh..)
and ran the wires along the console towards the front,
where I already had the lights wired for my underdash lights..
I had to drill one little hole in the side of the cupholder to put the wire through..

they come on a sticky strip, so after I cleaned it with alcohol, I stuck the strip up
against the side of the cupholder..(I should have put them down a little lower..)

.

.........225/65/17 = 28.5"x9" & 255/70/17 = 31.1"x10.25"
..............Get In, Sit Down, Shut Up, & Hang On.!

Re: interior lighted led cup holders

I wonder if it is pre-wired if you buy the lighted console? I might do it if I can just plug in the new console.
