I plasti-dipped my rims about a month ago. I love it, holds up really well and looks really good.

Be careful that turbo might rip that stuff right off.

funny, was going to powder coat my chromes but this is an alternative that won't destroy the rims. Also going to do my wifes rims on her 04 GTP , they will be my guinea pig.
Your car looks awesome. can I get a side view of it?

Did mine and they have held up great. I love the look and it doesn't cost hardly anything to do it, just a little time.

I've got 5 coats on my wheels and I've washed it numerous times without any coming off. The stuff is pretty durable. I just use a microfiber scrub mitt to wash them.

I have my 4 cans ready for action....and then I read on another thread about how it attracts dirt and is a pain to wash because of it. Apparently, the person who posted it lives on a dirt road or drives on one a lot and I'm moving to a dirt/gravel area soon.

Anyone else find any dirt attracting issues with this stuff before I bury my wheels in it?

Which brand of plastidip do you use and how much should someone expect to spend? I want my wheels to look like yours. I'm thinking about buying the black Mopar centercaps from the dealership.

Plastidip is the brand name. You can find it at Home Depot in the paint section. It's about 6.00 a spray can. I hear 1 can per rim is more than enough.
I have yet to do it but I'm rady and soon. It's just a matter of weather/spare time.
