If you own a v6 challenger (Nag1 transmission) I'm sorry to report that the torque converter and or transmission on this car is a timebomb waiting to leave you on the side of the road with a hefty repair bill (if you don't have warranty of course).
There are multiple owner reports of harsh transmission shifts (down) when letting off the gas after brief hard acceleration. I've felt it multiple times in multiple challengers myself, and any car I have ever owned that behaved like this didn't last long.
And sure enough now there are owner reports of the same symptoms which ended up in a replacement of the torque converter.
I guess they didn't design this part long enough to fully survive the warranty, just like the alternator. Just hope my alternator and trans die before 36,000
in fact I'm wondering if I should just sell this joke on engineering right now.....
