2012 Backup Camera

Ok, I know putting a backup camera in 2012 did not work without lock pick in previous months. But since many of us with the 740 Nav system recently got upgrades in the mail, has anyone tried again to see if it would work? It just seems strange how the 2011 guys could get the camera to work and the 2012 people could not. We never figured out why it all of a sudden stopped working but I just figured that it had something to do with the radio firmware since the camera was technically not supported in Challenger. Maybe someone fix something that would now allow it.

back up camera

I got an 2011 dodge challenger and i had the same problem. I had 2 dealer try to activate the rear camera feature to no luck at all.I decided to return the camera to the dealer and get an lock pic and a decent camera from ebay. I was happy with the result also i spent less money. The main thing i like is if I have an issue with the radio, i can unplug the lock pic and take the car to the dealer.

I purchased NavTool , couldn't be more happy and the fact it's made in USA makes it 100 times better, unfortunately i wasn't able to find any made in USA rear cameras
