Re: After Market Steering Wheels?

The 2009 Dodge Ram steering wheel would look really good in the Challenger IMO.

Re: After Market Steering Wheels?

Yea, thats it, its beefy and thick, yet smaller in diameter then the current challenger steering wheel, and it looks sporty. Not sure if its swapable though, the challenger has that funky M.B. steering column, dont think the ram does. Chrysler has got to do something about the stock steering wheel IMO, it just doesnt fit the car.

Re: After Market Steering Wheels?

I really wish they kept the concept wheel, it looked alot like that just more fitting for the challenger. Im hoping someone out there does something. With all the tuners making these cars maybe someone will change it out and will offer it stand alone. Come on hurst hxc g5 sms mr norm...

Re: After Market Steering Wheels?

It sure looks like the challenger wheel. I agree it would be an improvement.

Re: After Market Steering Wheels?

Heck, just about anything would be an improvement. Its get a bit tricky etc. with aftermarket mfgs and air bad wheels. That's why companies like Grant who specialize in steering wheels don't do much for the newer airbag equipped vehicles...Hope somebody comes up with something

Re: After Market Steering Wheels?

Hey Brampton Builder, do you think a 2009 Ram steering wheel would actually fit on the Challengers steering column?

Are the mechanics of it too different? Would the power steering adapt to a different wheel? And would the wheel mounted stereo controls match up?

Changing a wheel will not effect the p/steering . I do not know or have any info on the 09 Ram wheel so I cant really say if it would fit . With the way Chrysler uses certain parts across many car lines there may be a chance it may . So you would have to get hold of a new Ram and compare the parts to see if it would fit
