Anyone bought floor mats from LateModel Restoration??
With all the options out there in vendors, it's hard to decide what is a good product and what isn't. I'm hoping that someone can help me out with a floor mat question. Has anyone purchased the embroidered floor mats from Latemodel Restoration? I would have purchased from RPI but they don't make the Challenger script mats with the R/T logo beneath it. I have attached a link and a photo. The photo is just a "representation" which concerns me but then again, how hard can it be to get it right. At $129 a set, price is reasonable.
Any feedback from anyone who has either purchased from them or knows someone who has would be appreciated. Pictures would be great.
Question #2: I have a 2009 R/T Hemi Orange with the hood to fender stripes. Would it be tacky to order the Orange mats or should I stick with Black. I just love seeing all the interior colors on the old Challengers at all the car shows and I think it's unfortunate that Chrysler did not offer interior color options. I love my car either way but maybe the orange mats would spice it up on the interior.
Got mine off a vendor from ebay. The script on the trunk mat matches the floor mats and door sills - and they're Dark Slate Grey, not black - like many of the imitations are.

These are Mopar floor mats. I have them, too. I bought a set of mats off of Ebay and a trunk mat and was disappointed that they were black... I wanted Slate Grey to match the interior. The vendor emailed me back and said that Dodge kept changing the dye for Slate Grey and that they could never get the right exact match, too many customer complaints, blah, blah, so they shipped black for Challengers. I would up giving them away and ordering the Mopar mats, which were superior (the nibs on the bottom of the mats weren't on the high ticket custom mats), but kept the trunk mat since it was cut out for the subwoofer, and the Mopar trunk mat is not.
The Mopar mats are a perfect match to the carpet, too. And about half the cost of the "custom" floor mats.
That said, you may want to look at vendors on here who carry Lloyds mats, which I believe can be ordered in most any color. Lloyds has a license for Chrylser brand logos and will have an authentic Challenger old school script.
