I just ran a threading die down on the shaft and got a corresponding threaded bushing to adapt my flameball shift knob to the automatic shaft. Because the flats on the shaft are still there, I can go back to stock if I should ever want to. No shaft adapter needed.

Stock Knob Removal

I have a 2013 SRT8 Auto. How does the leather knob come off? Or does it? I have tried unscrewing it but that does not work. Thanks for any info.

Insert a flathead screwdriver's blade between the chrome ring below the knob and the knob itself. Carefully work the ring down the shaft. Grab the knob and pull up (hard). I'll come off with no issues. Slide the chrome ring off. And sorry about all the potential salacious double-entendres.

Hey that's sick! Would look sweet in my redline R/T. Billet sells everything in the pics?
