Thanks, it's very easy . Pop off the pass side a post trim and tap into the yellow / white wire for positive and the black wire for negative and your done ,
For those of you with newer than 2014s I'm sure you can use some led strip lights in place of what you have ,I don't know what kind of lights the new ones come with but mine are very bright as you can see, mines an 2011 and we have no foot lights at all,
Yes, The light strip do have adhesive on the back....BUT....
They do seem to work loose over time too. And I tried re-gluing too.
** MY TIP: 3-4 inch strips of Velcro (the hook side) across the strip every 6 inches or so!
The carpet under the dash acts like the opposite of the Velcro hooks.
