Headrest and heated seats question.

Two questions, if you guys could help!

First question - I like the seats, they're very comfortable for me... however, it'd be 10x better if the headrest was able to be used as a headrest instead of looking at the ceiling when doing so. Has anyone come up with a mod, or a new headrest that articulates so you can use it on longer trips? I've looked around and only seen mods to embroider the headrests, nothing to make them articulate or that stick further up. May have to get a pillow or something for long trips to hold my head up.

Second question - my friend has a 2015 RAM 1500 with heated seats... and they work amazingly well. Very quick to heat up and you can actually feel them pretty good. In my 2015 Challenger R/T, I have heated seats. They seem to take forever to heat up and they just get "warm", hard to feel (IMO). Another friend with a 2016 Nissan Sentra also has heated seats... those things can cook me. Do you think there's something wrong with my seats? If not, is there a mod to pump a little more heat into them?

The headrests are designed to move forward in a crash so I don't think it would be a good idea to modify them in any way.
You might rather consider getting some kind of a "pillow" instead. There appears to be a whole lot of different styles and prices.

I did a search and found them available almost everywhere. Here's a link to Amazon.

Thanks - yeah, those were the kind I was looking at. I'll have to get one.

Any idea on the heated seat "issue" I'm potentially having?

I am on my 4th Challenger, another 2012. Two of the cars have had seats that got uncomfortably hot and two that get just warm. I think there is not a problem as such, just variability.

1970 Plymouth Barracuda Bought 1981 sold August 1984 (who knew it would be a collectors car!)
2010 Challenger R/T 6spd bought Oct. 2009 sold Dec 31, 2010
2010 Challenger SRT 6spd bought Dec. 31, 2010 sold Oct. 2013
2012 Challenger SRT 6spd bought Jan. 31, 2014
