Interior colors

When are the guys at Chrysler going to find a different color other than gray or dark gray or light gray for the interior of the vehicles...dont get me wrong...I love my wifes 300c and my mega cab 2500 cummins and I wouldnt trade it except for maybe a Challenger, but the BORRRRRR-INGGGGGG interiors are really boring. how about a nice butter soft saddle tan or a comfy brown leather like my favorite bomber jacket.

How about it guys...give up the sad old gray mare look?

Re: Interior colors

Yes this has been the plague of the modern cars .
What has happened to the days when we had true black , and saddle tan like in my Cobra Mustang ??
Some say to keep the heat out more , ya right , others will say to please more general public , bull**** !
But the worst interiors have been GM's Fisher Price plastic interiors of the '90's !
The Challenger desperately needs a white interior if Plum Crazy comes out , but a Saddle Tan sure would be nice mixed with real black .

Chrysler could take some cues .... Taken from my Cobra :

Re: Interior colors

I couldn't agree with you'se guys more. Back in the day you could choose between a million different interiors of all kinds of colors and fabrics, etc. If you notice even the interior of the Challenger in Vanishing Point was two-tone black and grey and one of my favorite things about the old Challengers and 'cudas was that for all those cool exterior colors you could also get a matching interior. I am thrilled that they are bringing back B-5 Blue as it is one of my favorite colors but I am gonna be really greedy and hope that they make the matching leather interior as an option again. To me this always looked especially sharp in a convertible with the top down when everyone could see it and appreciate it.

Re: Interior colors

You wanna see old Mopar interior colors and options with various seating arrangements !?
Check this out : AAR and T/A Home Page (click INTERIOR tab at top header)
the thing is today's mentality is way different from the 70's fashion it once was , and for most part thank goodness heheh

Re: Interior colors

the pictures of this cobra remind of the reason i didnt get a mustang. Way too small and cramped for my tastes. I couldnt fit in that thing if they put the driver's seat in the back of the car lol

Re: Interior colors

but yea. you guys are right, another interior color sure wouldnt hurt. Personally i like the dark gray, but for the majority of the people out there, just having something different helps quench their taste

Re: Interior colors

I would love to have B5 on B5, or Sublime over dark brown.
Rootbeer brown over cream sounds appealing too.
